§ 12. Codification of ordinances.

The Council shall cause the ordinances to be revised and codified and maintained on a continuing basis. Titles, enacting clauses, emergency sections, and temporary and special ordinances may be omitted from the code. Ordinances and parts of ordinances which are to be repealed by the adoption of a revised code may be omitted. A revised code may contain new matter. The Council shall cause the code, revisions, and supplements to be printed and the City Clerk shall keep copies of each for sale to the public.
