§ 6.2. Quorum and voting.

  • A majority of the entire membership of the Council shall constitute a quorum for a meeting of the Council; less than a majority may continue a meeting to a specific date and time. The affirmative vote of a majority of the entire membership of the Council shall be necessary to adopt an ordinance or resolution. All other actions of the Council, unless otherwise specified in this amended Charter, shall be effective upon an affirmative vote of a majority of the quorum.
