§ 5. Exemption of city property from execution or assignment.

The property, real and personal, of the city shall not be subject to sale or appropriation under any writ of execution. The city shall not accept or honor an assignment of the wages of any officer or employee of the city, whether earned or unearned, except as specifically provided by the laws of Oklahoma. No lien of any kind shall exist against any property of the city.
