§ 206. Preparation of bulky waste for collection.
A.
A person must contact the city to request that a bulky waste collection be scheduled for a residential service unit. A fee is charged for a bulky waste collection.
B.
Bulky waste placed for collection shall not exceed eight (8) cubic yards in volume.
C.
Bulky waste must be separated and placed a minimum of three (3) feet away from carts and extra acceptable solid waste bag(s) and curbside yard waste bag(s).
D.
Bulky waste placed for collection at a residential service unit shall consist only of bulky waste generated at the location of such residential service unit. Bulky waste shall be placed for collection as follows:

Materials shall be placed neatly and tightly stacked at a point adjacent to the curb. Materials shall be stacked a minimum of three (3) feet away from utility poles, water and gas meters, fences, mail boxes, fire hydrants, trees, parked cars, power lines, and other obstructions to prevent damage by collection equipment and to allow the safe collection of the materials. Small items must be properly contained. Materials strewn about or not neatly or tightly placed or stacked will not be picked up.

Materials shall not be placed in the street, in an alley, on a sidewalk, or on a vacant lot, unless approved by the Director.
