 Title 11-B. SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT
 Chapter 2. RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE

  § 208. Backyard collection service.

  • A.

    Cart(s) containing residential solid waste and bag(s) outside the cart(s) each with an extra refuse sticker shall be placed adjacent to the residential service unit. The lid of each cart shall be securely closed. A maximum of three (3) bags each with an extra refuse sticker may be set out for collection.

    B.

    Cart(s) containing program recyclable materials shall be placed adjacent to the residential service unit. The lid of each cart shall be securely closed.

    C.

    On the day of collection, backyard customers may place their cart(s) and bags tagged with an extra refuse sticker up to one hundred (100) feet from the traveled part of the roadway.

    D.

    Curbside yard waste is not collected from a backyard location. Bags or bundles of curbside yard waste shall be placed within four (4) feet of the curb or traveled portion of any roadway and outside any fence.

    E.

    Bulky waste is not collected from a backyard location. Bulky waste shall be placed within four (4) feet of the curb or traveled portion of any roadway and outside any fence.
