§ 1225. Transfers.

    Notification required. No transfer shall occur without prior notice to the Public Works Director. Notice of the transfer must meet the requirements of Section 1205, as applicable, and provide complete information on the proposed transaction, including the legal, financial, technical and other pertinent qualifications of the transferee as deemed necessary by the Public Works Director.

    B.

    No waiver or release. A transfer of an occupancy permit or a rights-of-way construction permit shall not constitute a waiver or release of any of the rights of the City.

    C.

    Recovery of costs. The City may impose a charge, in addition to any occupancy fee or other compensation authorized by this chapter or applicable law, to cover the City's costs in excess of the filing fee in considering an application for a transfer of an occupancy permit or a rights-of-way construction permit.
