§ 1400. Grant of license for signs within Central Business District rights-of-way.

Any sign as defined in this chapter shall, subject to the provisions of this chapter, be licensed and permitted by the City to be installed, used and maintained within public rights-of-way located in the Central Business District, without entering into a separate license and removal agreement with the City. The provisions of this chapter are enacted by the City Council consistent with the authority granted by the City's 1989 Amended Charter and Amendments, Article VIII, Section 13, "Permits". As such, the license issued pursuant to this ordinance shall be revocable by the Council at will.
