§ 100. Definitions.

For the purposes of this chapter, each word and phrase shall have the following meaning:

A.

City shall mean the City of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

B.

Emergency and public safety vehicles shall mean such Fire Department vehicles, Police Department vehicles, ambulances and other vehicles as are designated as such by the Mayor in writing.

C.

Energy conservation and efficiency plan shall mean an annual dynamic document created by the Mayor for each and every City administrative department, division, board, commission, authority or agency (funded in whole or in part through adoption of the City's annual budget) which details that department's, division's, board's, commission's, authority's or agency's energy conservation and efficiency plan for the next budget year and four (4) fiscal years beyond. The energy conservation plan shall be developed each year as part of the annual budget development process.

D.

May , as used in this chapter, is permissive and not mandatory.

E.

Passenger vehicle shall mean every motor vehicle, except motorcycles and motor-driven cycles, designed for carrying ten (10) passengers or less and used for the transportation of persons.

F.

Shall, as used in this chapter, is always mandatory and never permissive.
