§ 201. Policy statement and policy goals.

A.

The City is committed to the policy of a safe and secure environment at City Hall as well as all other City facilities.

B.

It is the policy of the City to provide adequate, effective security at all City facilities, including parks, and to reduce both the occurrence and likelihood of crimes against people and property whether they are City employees, citizens or visitors to Tulsa, Oklahoma.

C.

The goals of the City's Public Safety Policy are as follows:

1.

To provide a safe and secure environment (including the workplace) at all City of Tulsa public facilities, whether they are buildings or open spaces;

2.

To reduce both the occurrence and likelihood of loss of life and physical or emotional injury; and

3.

To reduce the loss or damage to public equipment and facilities due to theft and vandalism.
