§ 202. Airport administration.

    When an emergency exists, the Director or his authorized representative(s) shall, as authorized by the laws of the state of Oklahoma and Title 14, Code of Federal Regulations, take action as necessary, in his discretion and judgment, to protect the health, welfare and safety of persons and property and to facilitate operations of the airport including the authority to suspend or restrict any or all aeronautical, vehicular and pedestrian operations at the airport.

    B.

    In the event the Director, or his authorized representative, determines the condition of the airport or any part thereof is unsafe for taxiing, landings or takeoffs, the Director shall issue, or cause to be issued, a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) closing the airport or any part thereof.
