§ 2207. Appeal from denial of permit.

Any non-profit organization whose application for a permit is denied shall have the right to appeal to the Council. Notice of the appeal, stating the grounds therefor, shall be filed with the Director and the Council Secretary within five (5) days after receipt of the notice of denial. Appeals to the Council from any adverse decision of the Director, when timely and properly filed, shall be heard by the Council within eight (8) days. The Council shall receive any evidence it deems appropriate and shall either affirm, reverse or modify the Director's decision.
