§ 1507. Discharging firearms prohibited.

A.

Any person who shall willfully discharge any firearm within the corporate limits of the City shall be guilty of an offense and, upon conviction, shall be punished by imprisonment in the City jail for a period not exceeding six (6) months or by a fine of not more than One Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($1,200.00), excluding costs, fees and assessments, or by both such fine and imprisonment.

B.

It shall not be a violation of this section if a firearm is discharged within a shooting range operated consistent with Section 1506 of this chapter and all other ordinances, rules and regulations of the City.
