§ 3003. Required report.

A Secondhand Dealer shall cause to be delivered to the Chief of Police or his designee, either by delivery to the Main Police Station or deposit in the United States Mail, or (at the option of the Chief of Police) by electronic information transfer, a copy or report of any transaction involving the purchasing of any used item or merchandise; provided that such copy or report shall be in the possession of the appropriate Police personnel within three (3) days of the transaction; and provided further, that such copy or report shall be on a form supplied or approved by the Chief of Police. Such copy or report provided to the Chief of Police or his designee shall contain the name and address of the Secondhand Dealer, and the information stated in "Required Records-Examination and Inspection" Section 3002 (above).
