§ 1300. Definitions.

As used in this chapter the following words and phrases shall have the meanings given herein.

A.

Department shall mean the Department of Public Safety of the state of Oklahoma, acting directly or through its duly authorized officers and agents.

B.

Compulsory insurance law shall mean the law requiring liability insurance in conjunction with the operation of a motor vehicle in the state of Oklahoma as found in Article VI, Chapter 7 of Title 47 of the Oklahoma Statutes.

C.

Security verification form shall mean a form, approved by the Oklahoma State Board for Property and Casualty Rates, verifying the existence of security required by the compulsory insurance law of the state of Oklahoma.
