§ 910. Funeral parking meter hoods.

A.

Licensed funeral directors may hood no more than four (4) parking meters without charge for the purpose of conducting funerals, provided that:

1.

No suitable off-street parking is available for the parking of funeral vehicles;

2.

The hoods are not placed on the meters more than five (5) hours prior to the time of the funeral; and

3.

The hoods are removed immediately following the funeral.

B.

The Director of Public Works may order any funeral parking meter hood to be removed when he deems such removal to be in the interest of the public safety or convenience.
