§ 100. Declaration of policy.
A.
It is the policy of the City of Tulsa that all persons shall have an equal opportunity commensurate with their economic capacity to purchase, rent, lease or occupy housing and that all persons shall have an equal opportunity to avail themselves of public accommodations without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity or disability;
B.
It is the policy of the City of Tulsa that all persons shall have an equal opportunity for employment and to participate in the social and economic life of the City without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, disability or medical condition due to pregnancy;
C.
It is the policy of the City of Tulsa that all programs, services and activities of the City or any of its instrumentalities or agencies shall be accessible to individuals with disabilities as required by law;
D.
It is the policy of the City of Tulsa to encourage the utilization of small business enterprises by persons who contract with the City;
E.
It is the policy of the City of Tulsa to not grant preferential treatment to, or discriminate against, any individual or group who contracts with the City on the basis of race, color, sex, ethnicity, or national origin; and
F.
It is the policy of the City of Tulsa to encourage the employment of residents of the City and the Metropolitan Statistical Area ("MSA") in public improvement contracts.
