§ 103. Compliance with policy.

All elected officials and employees of the City shall comply with provisions of this chapter. As part of the Council's duties and responsibilities under the Tulsa Amended Charter and state law, the Council may periodically review and evaluate the Mayor's and City administration's compliance with the provisions of this chapter. As part of the annual process and review of the budget for each City division, department, board, commission, authority or agency, the Council may consider compliance with the provisions of this chapter in its review and adoption of the budget. The Council may take any action relating to the adoption of the annual budget authorized by the law to encourage or ensure compliance with the provisions of this chapter.

The Mayor shall promulgate, in accordance with all applicable laws, reasonable and necessary work rules and regulations applicable to City employees to ensure compliance with the provisions of this chapter. A violation of the work rules and regulations lawfully promulgated by the Mayor by any City employee shall be grounds for disciplinary action.
