§ 109. Lost license or permit; change of business name or address.

  • Unless otherwise specified by ordinance, whenever any original license shall have been lost or destroyed, it shall be the duty of the Director of Finance, upon written application by the owner thereof, to issue a duplicate of the same, provided that the license has not been lost or destroyed by any act of connivance on the part of the licensee and that the licensee has made diligent search for the original license and has not been able to find it. A service charge of Five Dollars ($5.00) shall be made for each replacement license, and a service charge of Two Dollars ($2.00) shall be made for each copy. If a licensee wishes to change the name of the business and/or moves to a new location, he must return the original license and pay a service charge of Five Dollars ($5.00) for a new license reflecting such change, unless otherwise provided by ordinance.
