§ 117. Chauffeur license required.

A.

It shall be an offense for any person to drive a taxicab, paratransit vehicle or utility vehicle for hire within the City unless he has a current, valid taxicab, paratransit or utility vehicle for hire chauffeur's license issued under the provisions of this chapter.

B.

It shall be an offense for a holder to allow a person to drive for hire a taxicab, paratransit vehicle or utility vehicle for hire which is owned, controlled or operated by the holder, unless the person has a current, valid taxicab, paratransit or utility vehicle for hire chauffeur's license.
