§ 131. Passenger limitations.

A.

While operating a taxicab, paratransit vehicle or utility vehicle for hire, a chauffeur on duty may not transport any person other than a paying passenger.

B.

A chauffeur may, at his discretion, allow or refuse to allow a passenger to ride in the front seat when there is an unoccupied seat in the rear of the vehicle.
