§ 138. Report of accidents.

A.

In the event that any taxicab, paratransit vehicle or utility vehicle for hire is involved in an accident, the chauffeur shall immediately notify the City Police Department and shall, within twenty-four (24) hours, make a full and complete written report of such accident to the Director and the holder under whose certificate he operates.

B.

In the event that any passenger in a taxicab, paratransit vehicle or utility vehicle for hire is injured from any cause or in the event that any person is injured by being struck by a taxicab, paratransit vehicle or utility vehicle for hire, the chauffeur shall immediately notify the City Police Department and shall, within twenty-four (24) hours, make a full and complete written report to the holder and Director.
