§ 1102. Duties.

  • The duties of the Audit Committee shall be as follows:

    A.

    Advise the Mayor and City Council on selection of the independent external auditors to conduct the annual financial statement audits of the City.

    B.

    Meet with independent external auditors to discuss the scope of the annual financial statement audits of the City, and other matters related to such audits.

    C.

    Review, and advise the City Auditor on, the annual internal audit plan.

    D.

    Review, and advise the Mayor and City Council on, all internal audit reports issued by the City Auditor.

    E.

    Review, and advise the Mayor and City Council on, the annual financial statement audit reports, regulatory audit reports, and other types of audit reports.

    F.

    Advise the Mayor and City Council on significant matters and trends reported in internal, external, regulatory, and other types of audits.

    G.

    Advise the Mayor and City Council on other financial or auditing matters.
